Leasing of County Owned Airport property for agricultural purposes:

Tract #1 – Located in the SW ¼, SW ¼ of Section 13, Township 18 N, Range 18 E, W.M. –

Approximately 38 Acres.

Tract #2 – Located within a portion of N ½ of Section 24, Township 18 N, Range 18 E, W.M.; and a portion of W ½  SW ¼ of Section 19, Township 18 N, Range 18 E, W.M.; and a portion of N ½ S.E. ¼ , of Section 24, Township 18 N, Range 18 E, W.M. – Approximately 270 Acres.

Tract #3 -  Located within a portion of SE ¼ SE ¼ of Section 24, Township 18 N, Range 18 E.,

W.M.; portion of SW ¼  SW ¼  of Section 19, Township 18 N, Range 19 E, W.M.; portion of N ½ NE ¼ of Section 25, Township 18 N, Range 18 E, W.M. – Approximately 92 Acres

Tract #4 – Located within the NE ¼ , NE ¼ of Section 26, Township 18 N, Range 18 E., W.M. – Approximately 24 Acres.

Tract #5 & #6 – Located within the E ½ of Section 23, Township 18 N, Range 18 E., W.M. – Approximately 342 Acres, with a reduction to 300 acres upon Flood Management Construction in 2022/2023.

            Bid preparation shall be in accordance with instructions to bidders found in the Bid Proposal packet.  All bid proposals shall be accompanied by a bid proposal deposit of $100.00 per tract in cash, certified check or surety bond.  Should the successful bidder fail to enter into the lease within the time stated, the bid proposal deposit shall be forfeited to the County of Kittitas.

            The Board reserves the right to reject any/all bids, to waive informalities in the bidding and to accept the bid/bids deemed to be in the best interest of Kittitas County.  Bids not in hand at 4:00 p.m., September 9th, will not be considered.
